"Dealer stated it has a automatic manual trans that bucks and shifts roughly especially during warmer weather" "Car shakes roughly when shifting, sounds like there is something tumbling inside of transmission" The 2015 ran fine for a year but soon began doing the same thing. I traded it for a new 2015 after several service visits. "I used to have a 2012 Ford Focus that had shifted roughly and slipped. "When accelerating from a complete stop the vehicle has a tough time shifting and has a loss of power." "It was a recall issue that was present at the purchase, but the dealership did not reveal it and precertified the vehicle." The software was updated once, there was no improvement, when we took it in to th e dealer the second time, they replaced the clutches and the car has been fine since then, that is, for the last 5800 miles." "The engine would bog down because the transmission wouldn't shift down at the right time, and also much of the time the shifts upward were hard and noisy. Starting off from a stop.car vibrates due to clutches. The oil leak was minor (I wasn't aware of it)." Ford dealer investigated when I had car in for other service at 55,000 miles and replaced a clutch pack and a transmission seal under warranty. Apparently transmission controls were not smoothly transmitting power from one gear clutch to the next higher gear clutch. With full- or close to full-throttle acceleration, some shuddering at up-shift points shifting worse when car not fully warmed up. "Even when brand new, 6-speed automatic transmission shifted smoothly only when gently accelerating. "Lots of vibration and hesitation on when accelerating" ![]() Few miles later problem returned, but did not get worse."
